Collection: AirBike
Air bikes use a fan wheel instead of a magnet or friction pad, so resistance scales automatically with how hard a rider pushes. That makes them a staple in HIIT and interval training rooms. Our current lineup carries three: the StairMaster HIIT Bike, the Star Trac Turbo Trainer, and the Octane Fitness AirDyneX, all refurbished.
What to Look For in an Air Bike
- Frame and fan cage build: air bikes take repeated max-effort intervals, so look for a steel frame and a fully shrouded fan cage that keeps hands and loose clothing away from the spinning blades.
- Console and tracking: at minimum you want time, calories, and RPM. Some consoles add heart rate and interval timers for HIIT programming.
- Floor space and stability: air bikes need clearance around the flywheel for airflow, and a wide, stable base matters given how hard members push on the handlebars during sprints.
- New vs. refurbished: all three air bikes in this collection are currently refurbished. Check the fan cage, chain or belt drive, and frame welds closely, and confirm the console powers on and reads accurately. Every unit we sell is inspected and tested before shipping.
