Collection: Power Racks

Power racks turn free-weight training into a one-station setup that covers squats, presses, and pull-ups, with adjustable safety bars for lifting without a spotter. Our lineup runs from full four-post racks to half racks, a 3/4 rack, and a combo unit that folds a Smith machine and bench press into the same frame. We carry Nautilus, Hammer Strength, Elieko, Premier Strength, Power Lift, and Star Trac. Most of this collection is refurbished, with new combo racks from Premier Strength.

Choosing between a power rack and a Smith machine? Our Smith machine vs. power rack comparison guide breaks down safety, versatility, and space.

Types of Power Racks

1

Full Power Rack

Four posts fully enclose the lifter, with adjustable safety bars and usually a pull-up bar overhead. The standard choice when floor space allows it.

2

Half Rack

Two posts instead of four, open on one side. Takes less floor space than a full rack while still supporting squats and rack pulls.

3

3/4 Rack

More coverage than a half rack without the full footprint of a four-post cage. A middle option for rooms that can't fit a full rack.

4

Combo Rack

Pairs a half rack with a Smith machine and bench press capability in one frame, useful where floor space limits how many separate stations fit.

Which Type Fits Your Floor?

Type. Best For. Footprint. Resistance. Example in Our Lineup.
Full Power Rack. Maximum safety and versatility. Largest, 4-post footprint. Free weight, plate-loaded. Elieko Power Rack w/ Platform.
Half Rack. Space savings, still supports squats. Smaller, open-sided footprint. Free weight, plate-loaded. Hammer Strength Half Rack.
3/4 Rack. Middle ground on coverage vs. space. Mid-size footprint. Free weight, plate-loaded. Hammer Strength 3/4 Rack.
Combo Rack. Multi-station, space-limited floors. Compact, combined footprint. Free weight, plate-loaded. Premier Strength Beast Series Combo Rack.

Buying Considerations

  • Space-limited floors adding a first rack station: a combo rack covers a rack, Smith machine, and bench in one footprint.
  • Rooms that can't fit a full four-post cage: a half rack or 3/4 rack keeps squat and rack-pull capability in less space.
  • Need an integrated lifting platform: the Elieko Power Rack and Power Lift Double Half Rack in this collection both ship with a platform built in.
  • New vs. refurbished: most of this collection is refurbished, including racks from Nautilus, Hammer Strength, Elieko, Power Lift, and Star Trac. Premier Strength combo racks are new. Check upright welds, hardware, and safety bar adjustment closely on refurbished units. Every unit we sell is inspected and tested before shipping.
