Treadmills see the highest daily turnover of any machine on a cardio floor, and deck cushioning and motor durability show it first. Our lineup spans standard motorized decks, incline trainers, non-motorized curved decks, and connected touchscreen models. We carry Life Fitness, Precor, Star Trac, Cybex, Woodway, and TRUE Fitness, new and refurbished.

Types of Treadmills

Motorized Flat-Deck Treadmills

The standard commercial treadmill. A motor drives the belt at a set speed and incline, which is what most members expect to step onto.

Incline Trainers

Built around steep grades instead of flat walking. The TRUE Fitness and FreeMotion models in our lineup are set up for hill and interval programs first.

Non-Motorized / Curved Treadmills

No motor drives the belt. The runner's own stride powers a curved or slatted deck, which is why these show up most in HIIT and athletic training rooms.

Connected Touchscreen Treadmills

A large touchscreen console replaces the basic LED or LCD display, adding streaming classes and on-demand workout content.

Buying Considerations

  • High-turnover general fitness floors: a motorized flat-deck treadmill is the safe default. Members already know how to use one.
  • HIIT or athletic training programs: non-motorized curved decks make the runner drive their own pace, which changes the training stimulus versus a motor-driven belt.
  • Studios competing on member experience: a connected touchscreen console supports streaming and on-demand classes that a basic LED display can't.
  • New vs. refurbished: treadmill belts, decks, and motors take the heaviest wear of any cardio machine on a gym floor. Check belt tracking, deck cushioning, and motor hours closely on refurbished units. Every unit we sell is inspected and tested before shipping.
