This Cybex R Series machine is a Lower Body Arc Trainer, using Cybex's patented arc-shaped foot path rather than a true ellipse or a fixed circular stride. Because the arc motion is engineered to load the legs mainly while the foot is planted, Cybex's own research points to close to zero vertical impact compared with running, while still driving heart rate up quickly. As a Lower Body configuration, the handles are fixed, keeping the focus entirely on the legs and glutes. This unit has been inspected and refurbished by our team before being listed.
