The Octane LX8000 LateralX combines a standard vertical stepping motion with adjustable lateral movement, so a member can work anywhere from a narrow stair-climbing stride out to a wide, skating-style motion depending on the width setting. Octane's internal testing found that widening the lateral setting increases engagement of the inner and outer thighs, which is the main reason it tends to sit alongside standard ellipticals on a cardio floor rather than replacing them. This LX8000 has been cleaned, inspected, and function-tested by our shop before resale.
