The Premier Strength Bravo Series Seal Row is a commercial seal row machine built for strict, chest-supported back training. By supporting the torso throughout the pull, it helps reduce lower-back involvement and momentum so the lats, rhomboids, traps, rear delts, and other upper-back muscles can do more of the work.

Its adjustable chest pad can be set to a slight angle or more upright position, allowing lifters to refine their rowing position for comfort, range of motion, and targeted muscle engagement. The supported setup makes it especially useful for commercial gyms and strength facilities that want a dedicated rowing station for controlled, repeatable pulling mechanics.

Why Train With a Seal Row Machine?

A seal row, also called a prone or chest-supported row, removes much of the torso movement that can occur during unsupported rowing exercises. With the chest supported, users can focus on pulling through the elbows and training the back without relying heavily on hip drive or lower-back stabilization.

  • Chest-supported rowing: promotes strict technique and minimizes unwanted body momentum.
  • Back isolation: targets the lats, rhomboids, traps, rear delts, and surrounding upper-back musculature.
  • Reduced lower-back demand: the supported torso position limits the bracing demands associated with bent-over rows.
  • Adjustable positioning: the chest pad can be adjusted to change the user's setup and pulling angle.
  • Commercial-gym application: gives members a dedicated back-training option alongside mid rows, low rows, pulldowns, and free-weight movements.

Seal Row vs. Bent-Over Row

Both movements train the back, but they challenge the body differently. A bent-over row requires the lifter to maintain a hinged position and stabilize the torso throughout the set. A seal row supports the chest, reducing the need to hold that position and making it easier to perform a strict pull with less assistance from the hips and lower back. This makes a dedicated seal row machine a useful complement to free-weight rowing rather than a replacement for it.

Who Is This Machine For?

The Bravo Series Seal Row is suited to commercial gyms, training studios, athletic facilities, and serious strength-training environments looking to expand their upper-body pulling selection. It can also complement chest-supported rows, seated rows, lat pulldowns, and other back stations when building a complete commercial strength floor.
