The Star Trac NXT uses a black-belt drivetrain rather than a chain, which tends to run quieter and need less lubrication and upkeep over years of daily class use. Star Trac has built commercial cardio and studio equipment since 1979 and was behind some of the first DC-powered treadmills built specifically for health clubs, so the NXT carries that same commercial-first engineering into the group cycling studio. This bike has been cleaned, inspected, and tested by our technicians before resale.
